Tagum City— Staying true to its cause of putting a premium on the welfare of its residents, more than 30 million peso- worth of infrastructure projects were formally turned over by the local government of Tagum to their intended beneficiaries in a series of inauguration and blessing held between September 12 to September 19, 2019.
The projects numbered to more than 300, and covered 43 puroks in eight barangays.
These infrastructure projects include asphalting of roads, concreting of roads and alleys, construction of multi-purpose pavements, stage, communal public toilets, school perimeter fence, drainage without cover, dugwells with filtration, stainless water tanks with and without concrete stand, and rehabilitation of drainage box culvert, and construction and upgrading of electrical power lines and lighting facilities, among others.
Mayor Allan L. Rellon in a statement said that it is his prime duty and the LGU’s responsibility to ensure that all Tagumenyos are living in an urbanized yet livable city where inclusivity is cultivated.
The series of activities which was spearheaded by Mayor Allan Rellon, was also witnessed by the members of the 8th City Council, together with the LGU’s department heads, employees and stakeholders.
These multi-million LGU-funded projects form an integral part in the consummation of the social contract of Mayor Allan L. Rellon to every Tagumenyo who put their trust on him last election 2019. JP Cordovero/CIO Tagum
