Tagum City – Tagum Philippine National Police tightens its visibility along national highway and warns the public against illegal drag racing after four vehicles had a major collision in this city’s highway last February 21, 2022.

According to the initial investigation of PNP Tagum, all vehicles were travelling along national highway near Wilcon Depot in Tagum City at 11:30 pm of the said date. The driver of white Suzuki multicab Pedje M. Delima turned left across the road while the drivers of the three motorcycles white/black Suzuki Raider, black Suzuki Raider, and black/blue Suzuki Raider Jasper John E. Romero, Angelo Zaragoza, and an unidentified male, respectively, were all driving straight going to the Municipality of Carmen.

At the site of the accident area, Romero collided with Delima’s rear portion which caused damages and injuries to both parties. All three motorcycle drivers received treatment from the emergency response team of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of the LGU Tagum.
