Tagum’s newest top cop installed

Tagum City – Tagum City has a new Chief of Police in the person of PLTCOL Pablito G. Odias who officially took over the duties and responsibilities left for him by the former Officer-in-Charge PLTCOL Ariel B. Acala in a fitting ceremony held at the Tagum City Police Station (TCPS) this morning, February 17, 2020.

The city’s newest top cop vowed to solve and continue the good practices started or continued by Acala such as disciplining the TCPS members and officers, notable anti-criminality operations, robbery and theft crime solution, and many more.

Odias reiterated his leadership’s commitment in achieving Genuine Peace, Safety, and Security that is part of the 10-point developmental thrust of Mayor Allan L. Rellon.

Acala served the TCPS for almost 6 months solving grave crime problems such as drugs, investment schemes, shooting encounters, and the like. In his remarks, he challenged the new COP to further strengthen the internal and external support relationship to achieve a peaceful and liveable city.

In the same manner, PCOL Ranie P. Hachuela, the Officer-in-Charge of Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office wished PLTCOL Odias luck on his new role and advised him to be prepared on getting phone calls and texts from his constituents 24/7.
