Araw ng Tagum, also called as the Tagum Day, commemorates the historic occasion of the Tagum Municipality becoming an official city on March 7, 1998. The Araw ng Tagum 2024 was graced with beauty during the Binibining Tagum 2024 Coronation Night on March 2, 2024. This event was one of the most anticipated event of every Pageant enthusiasts of Tagum and Tagumenyos from all the Barangays.

After the clash of Beauty and Brains, the Civic Parade Kasikas sa Dalan & Avenida Musika took place where more than 200 thousand people participated. The parade was composed of 10 clusters that each represents its community. Followed by the Kasikas sa Dalan Drum and Bugle Lyre Corps Competition

Aside from the colorful and exciting events, it’s time to look back and appreciate the efforts, achievements and contribution of every Mayor that helped the growth of Tagum City. This year, our Father of the City Mayor Rey T. Uy opened the Mayor’s Gallery & Exhibit.

In connection with contribution, the citizens of the City have always been present. With that, the Father of the City Hon. Rey T. Uy made a heartfelt tribute to the people of Tagum

In addition to our togetherness in this celebration, a Clean-up drive was conducted to show the united intention or the bayanihan of every Tagumenyo in cleaning the City during the Araw ng Tagum 2024.

As the Araw ng Tagum comes to an end, the Aksyon agad Man Mayor Rey T. Uy, in partnership with the Public Education and Employment Service Office (PEESO) conducted the Araw ng Tagum Job Fair. This was intended towards helping the people by giving employment opportunities for their future.

All in all, the Araw ng Tagum was successfully celebrated through various events. In every celebration of Araw ng Tagum, we take pride towards our people. It is focused on recognizing the contributions of every Tagumenyo. Our love for Tagum City flourishes as we embody harmony with our community.
